This woman is an awesome songwriter and I love her voice. Thanks to my sister L for introducing me to Sara! The quote above is from her song "All Right Here" on the album of the same name. Her website is worth a visit. (Edited to add, "Hey! The embedded link worked! I figured it out! It always helps to Read The Instructions.")
I hope I've not infringed on any copyright laws by using the words from her song as my blog title. I thought maybe including the quote and her name would cover that. And the fact that the words "All Right Here" are sorta common usage type of words? If anyone knows otherwise please LMK and I'll try to think of something else! (Originally I was going to use something else but Blogger wouldn't let me and then this title came to me in-a-flash, as they say.)
Buy all of Ms. Groves' CDs.

I prefer her recent album, Add to the Beauty. I have not been able to get into the All Right Here album very much.
I think it is because it is very Amy Grantish---and I am very sure that she has or at least her producers have taken liberties with the music to make her piano sound a bit like Chris Martin's from Coldplay. Everyone likes that. It does not surprise me that Brown Bannister produced it. There is your answer.
Her voice is pleasant, I agree. I like how mellow it is. Her lyrics are better than her voice though, I must say.
Very good point -- lyrics are definitely her strong suit. But I do like her style, I think it *is* the mellowness that appeals to me, now that you mention it!
Although your comparison to Amy Grant puzzles me. I really *do not like* Amy Grant. So??
I don't really like her at all...
