Noise

The last couple of days we've been treated to the sounds of trucks and bull-dozers and other destructive-type heavy construction vehicles in the not-so-distant distance... lots of backing-up-and-beeping noises too. Occasionally a tree crashing to the ground. There is a development going in contiguous to our neighborhood and they are putting in the main road. It's kinda troubling... I wonder how our life here in the woods will change, if it will, once the buildings start to go up and traffic increases. Our house-in-the-woods won't be so in-the-woods-ish. Our little town won't be so small town.
