Update

It will be a few days most likely before I get the chance to post again, so here's a quick update. Family members have arrived safely, specifically my parents and my sister, her dh and ds. Only glitch so far was the bizarre 24 hour stomach bug that my ds and younger dd somehow acquired... they were quarantined, of course, and are back to normal as of this mroning. We're hoping the rest of us will escape unharmed.

Of course there's been music & singing, Rook, and Scrabble. Some of us visited the Twelve Days of Christmas display at the Carolina Inn today. This evening we watched Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men's Chest which I thought was a hoot. The dogs are getting along famously -- I believe Samwise will miss his cousin Cooper. So far there's been enough food which is always good. And everyone has a reasonably comfortable bed.

Tomorrow there'll be church services and continued R&R. And then the Big Day. More cousins & relatives (but no more dogs) arrive Monday night and Tuesday.
