We watched Facing the Giants last week. I liked it a lot.

Currently I am working my way through the Monarch of the Glen TV series, very well-acted and funny and especially interesting to me since our time in England (though we never made it to Scotland... had to save something for another time).

We also have the extended version of The Fellowship of the Ring in the house as well as One Night with the King. I think we'll watch the latter this weekend with older dd. The FotR will have to wait until later... ds is off at a weekend-retreat this Friday through Sunday with his youth group. (If you're checking that link you might wonder why these grew-up-reformed-Presbyterians, turned house-churchers-in-their-20s, recieved-into-the-Episcopal-Church-in-their-30s, now-sojourning-in-a-very-evangelical-PCUSA-church parents are sending their son to a Baptist youth group? It's a long story but suffice to say he has good friends there, appreciates the teaching, and enjoys it.)
