Garden Update

It's actually kinda hard for me to call my flower beds "gardens" having lived in England for a while. I think forever after I will think of the small enclosed area in back of a 3-story brick home (attached on either side) as a garden.

Oh well, anyway. In my perennial-flower-border-along-the-driveway things are somewhat slow. The spring & early summer flowers have done their thing and need to be cut back. The mid & late summer bloomers aren't quite up to speed yet. Not much to photograph or post.

However, the hydrangea (that suffered badly in the early spring frost/snow) looks FABULOSO! The color is just amazing. Here's a pic with the Very Happy Hostas in back.

And some prettiful Mexican Sunflowers (I think that's what they are?) that are supposed to be annuals (I think?) but have survived and keep coming back in the pots on the deck (this is their third year!).
