Bloomin'

Not a whole lot is blooming right now, but this coreopsis is. Two years ago I got nuthin' out of this plant so I'm happy to see it thriving. I wish I knew what its name is so I could share it with you, but I don't.

I followed the guidelines in my Well-Tended Perennial Garden for the yarrow and it's coming back and re-blooming nicely. (Was getting quite leggy and falling all over itself as well as its neighbors...) The black-eyed susans are also getting ready to bloom. (Anyone know why their leaves have blotchy black spots on them? It doesn't look very pretty.) Otherwise not much going on.
