We had some dirt delivered yesterday. A LOT of dirt. There are two large piles sitting in our front yard. Well, actually most of one pile has already been moved into the new garden bed in the front of our house. The rest of it will be used to amend the existing garden beds. The other pile is still sitting there with a blue tarp partly covering it. It's for the yard. (Supposed to rain tomorrow. Maybe I should take the tarp OFF and guarantee the rain.)
I tell ya this dirt is exciting. Like, I've-been-gardening-in-orange-concrete-for-years exciting. Who knew one could just Get Dirt.
No excuse now if stuff doesn't grow, that's for dig-dog sure.
