Quiet evening...

Dh is being honored this weekend at the football game. They bring out a faculty member for a few minutes once during each home game. So it's pretty cool that he's been chosen. He is even going to get to be on the field during the game and in the press box to watch. My fil is along to enjoy the event as well as dh's brother and sil. It'd be cool if it made the tv coverage but dh says it will probably happen during a commercial.

Today the kids went to their weekly tutorial classes. I puttered this morning (mostly working on adding all these new links that are over there to your left...) and then this afternoon there was ds's guitar lesson. We came home for an hour or so and then I took ds and older dd to the Baptist church for the Youth Group's visit to the NC State Fair (see now, you can just check on that link over there and find out more about said Baptist Youth Group). Tonight's performer is Steven Curtis Chapman.

Call me crazy, but younger dd and I put together a really awesome little movie clip of her showing off her new room, and I uploaded it and everything and then about 2 hours later I deleted it. The black hole the clip was creating on my pretty new blog was just bothering me too much. I know, I'm just really weird. Maybe I'll put it back up again later...

Tomorrow older dd will have synchro practice and chill, I'll work on homeschooling plans for the next few weeks, ds will chill (hopefully) and edit his movie, and younger dd will go from one activity to the next leaving a beautiful mess in her wake and announcing periodically that she "doesn't know what to do".
