Turns out

the guest house we are staying in has a laptop & wireless so I can post from the road. Cool.

We were delayed several hours getting up here but made it safe & sound. Dh is off meeting with someone. Ds is talking on the cell phone with his friend who moved to Florida (he has to go on vacation to have time to make frivolous phone calls, I think) and the girls are watching PBS and HGTV (sequentially, not concurrently). (That's what happens when you don't have tv at home.)

In a bit we'll head out to dinner and then this evening dh's project documentary will be shown on campus.
