When it snows, it pours.

We are getting a dose of what life in the winter months in the upper-midwest is like. (I think that is where we are... not sure. Maybe we're in the Great Lakes states? What *is* it called here? Anyone?)

It snows. Then it rains a bit. Clouds. The snow melts, kinda. Then more snow. A bit more rain. Clouds again.

We've seen the sun for one lovely day, I think, since arriving 11 days ago. We're hopeful it will come out again soon.

It's a change, that's for dig-dog sure! The children have experienced clearing snow off of the van, shovelling snow, taking walks in the snow... lots of snow. Samwise the corgi dog doesn't seem to mind the weather a bit. In fact he loves to romp through the snow on his walks. For some reason it doesn't really stick to him either which is nice. He loves to eat it too.

I also missed you. Gotta love that snow, right? You might not ever want anymore snow by the time you get back here!

Lynn :)
