It's Good Friday

and here comes the snow again. They are predicting up to 5 inches.

I really didn't want to bag up leaves this weekend anyway.

(Friday eve) ETA: Attended the 3 pm service at the Basilica. It was packed to overflowing... dh and I commented to each other how this service was so like the service at "that old church" (what my kids call it).

When we emerged from quiet out into the cold air it was snowing fairly heavily again, after having stopped earlier. We battled the wind, cold, and frosty precipitation back to our parked van and drove home. Unfortunately, our plans to watch the UNC game tonight at the home of some friends had to be scratched. (Even now, much later, it is still snowing/sleeting.)

Tomorrow calls for inside chores and in the evening, hopefully, attendance at the Paschal Vigil.

(Saturday) ETA: We decided to stay home this evening. Dh worked all day on house projects and was tired. I cleaned bathrooms, vacuumed, dusted, etc. and am tired. Older dks didn't want to go anyway... so we'll put our eggs in the Sunday basket (pun intended).

Oh, and the SUN came out this morning and shone all day, melting almost all the white stuff. Yay!
