Ds joined a drama class this September that has been working furiously for the month of October. They are preparing for a competition sponsored by the North Carolina Theatre Conference. It is this Friday in Winston-Salem.
The play was written by one of the group members (an 18 year-old). It's a 40-minute comedy/mystery/film noir-style piece. I haven't seen it yet -- they performed Monday night while the girls & I were at synchro practice. Dh went though and thought it had potential.
Older dd and I will be attending the performance on Friday... this week has been crazy for him with additional rehearsals. Today is a day off for ds -- so he gets to spend his time this morning writing college application essays. The due date is Saturday (Nov 1)!
