Our Tuesday

Another gorgeous early Fall day in central NC. I've lit a few Ginger Pumpkin candles and dh built a fire in the woodstove. It'll go up to 74 today but the rest of the week, only in the 60s.
The pink mums are even more fabulous today than a few days ago... when this photo was taken.
This morning we will do school and before lunch I will take older dd to CH for her weekly Spanish class. Ds will drive himeself (!) to Durham right after lunch for his twice-weekly drama class. They are preparing for a competition to be held on Oct 31. After Spanish I will pick up younger dd and the three of us will go to the rink so they can skate.
Sil B and her crew of 5 will making a quick pit stop at our house this afternoon -- they are on their way from SC back home in MD (they were at the wedding too). Sometime between 2 and 4. That'll be fun, if very brief!
After that and skating... older dd teaches (back at the rink) before dinner. Ds returns home (safely) from his class. We'll have dinner (not planned yet). After dinner I will take older dd to ballet in CH.
This evening my parents will arrive (probably late) from Florida where they've been visiting my dad's cousin (?). They'll stay for 2 days before heading home to PA.
Comings & goings! But meanwhile, I need to get off of here and go help ds with his physics experiment and hem a pair of shorts for his costume...

I loved catching up with you this morning, Emily! I have been SO BUSY this past week, but I see you know exactly what that's like. :)

The thought of a woodstove...mmmmmm. I wish we had one. And the candles sound wonderful.

Enjoy this chilly fall weather. Bundle up!
