At least that's kind of what it feels like around here. The summer has been so FULL of activity & celebration & planning. Not much in the way of sitting on the front porch watching the butterflies and hummingbirds. (As if we ever do that?)
Oh well. At least I have a lot of photo/scrapbooking opportunities.
Today is Z's Official Birthday Celebration. Dh drove off this morning with 6 tall young men stuffed into our minivan -- there were three in the back seat, ouch! -- heading for the U.S. National Whitewater Center for a day of rafting, wall-climbing, zip-lining, and more.
(P, this pic is for you.)
Since older dd is at her drama camp all day ("Meet me in St. Louis" this week and "A Tale of Two Cities" next week) and younger dd is visiting a friend... I am blissfully alone. Something that almost never happens around here. Well, except for the dog. And the kitten. And two frogs.
