Older dd really wanted to do the bus tour again so we did that too.
Looking straight up at the facade of the Chicago Board of Trade building. Can you see the tiny statue (of the goddess Ceres) on the top (in the middle)? Not so tiny in real life -- it's 31 ft. tall -- but looks that way in this photo.
This is a really really cool building designed by a female architect! It's called the "Aqua".
Back in the Institute we visited a few pictures we'd missed earlier.
When the above photo was taken older dd was beginning to feel rather poorly. Unfortunately she worsened pretty quickly and was miserable the whole train/bus ride back to SB. So, a mixed day but overall good... I'm grateful for these opportunities to be together!
