Back in town

OK, we're back (again). This time we're staying put for a bit longer. (The next thing is a few days at the beach over Labor Day, I think.)

I did fine with the driving, in case you were wondering. It helped a WHOLE lot to be able to stop at P&Bs on the way up and back. (Thanks guys!) I even made it fine going over several Very Large and Very High bridges. (The people that build these things obviously do not have Issues With Bridges.) What worked (again, in case you were wondering) was singing "You are My Sunshine" over and over again in my head while staring fixedly at the yellow line in the MIDDLE of the bridge.

We had a really nice time with family! Lots of sister and sister-in-law time and plenty of "cousining".

There are mice in the house but dh is dealing with that.

Things outside that are supposed to be alive and growing and have a few blooms on them are looking rather depressed.

Middle dd will be spending a lot of time on the ice this week in preparation for her tests this weekend. She also needs me to take her to Claire's so she can buy some "big" earrings and to Old Navy so she can spend her birthday gift card.

Younger dd is eager to play with friends and watch movies.

Not sure what is on ds's list.
