Mess

Things are rather noisy around here as ten (yup, ten) trees are coming down. This has been on dh's mind for some time now. We have a lot of trees around here, and there are a few that cause us worry during strong storms & wind. In August a random tree was struck (split all the way to the ground and knocked out power, cable, phone, etc.) very near our house and I think that gave us pause. Especially with dh's office now at home and expensive equipment, etc. SO all that to say it's rather a mess around here and if you live nearby and need firewood, y'all come.

One of the bad boys is the tree that sucks the water & nutrients from my struggling flower bed so I won't miss it. Though it was where we hung the hummingbird feeder so I need to find another spot for that.

Needless to say the possible re-seeding of the "lawn" project will most definitely now need to happen.
