Dh and older dd are in NYC for a few days. The opportunity arose due to dh being asked to speak just north of the city. Dd has been wanting to see the Big Apple for some time now. Last night they walked from their hotel to Times Square and looked around for a bit. This morning they took the ferry over to Liberty Island to look at the lovely lady herself. That and a stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge. Tonight they go to dinner and dh's talk. Tomorrow they intend to make visits to Central Park, FAO Schwartz, and the Empire State Building. They come home Wednesday.

Commented dd shortly before they left, "I hope The Sandman doesn't get me."
