Purpleness

(Can I just say that it's hard to come up with titles for all these photos of flowers that I like to post?)

Columbine (Aquilegia 'Origami Blue & White')
False Spirea (Astilbe 'Red Sentinel')
Ostrich Fern (Matteuccia struthiopteris)





Iris... they are purple and I don't know what their official name or species is since they were a hand-me-down from my neighbor.

There's also a bit of Japanese Painted Fern showing.

This garden is doing very nicely this year too! I moved some hostas (divided a few that were elsewhere and taking over their spot) into the back along with the Ostrich Fern and that has filled it out well. I'm waiting to see if the fall-blooming begonia will come up in its spot after getting consumed by deer two years ago.
