As part of the kids' geography course this year we are all watching the Planet Earth series on DVD and for the most part loving it. We're viewing the original BBC version with David Attenborough narrating. I guess there's also one with Sigourney Weaver?
ETA: Many of the episodes include footage of one animal (predator) eating another (prey). And there is at least one nasty bit that has forever changed my opinion of chimpanzees. (Not that my original opinion was that well-formed...) Just letting you know in case you or others in your household are sensitive to that sort of thing.
