Our last day here was spent in this amazing place. I'm glad we had the whole day for it as it is HUGE and there is a ton to see. We started with the new Chinese Garden, proceeded to the Japanese Garden and then through the Australian Garden, Lily Ponds, and Jungle Garden. After lunch we visited the Children's Garden and Conservatory for Botanical Science. Then a quick visit to the Rose Exhibit, moving on to view the Ameican and European Art Collections (including some fabulous & famous portraiture). Back outside to wander through the amazing Desert Garden. (You can't believe these cacti!) Finishing up with a quick look in the Library to view a very old Canterbury Tales and the Guttenburg Bible. A grand way to end our time here... especially since we got to watch UNC defeat Duke this evening before turning our clocks ahead and going to bed.
