Dh was in a meeting all-day. The girls and I headed out (a short walk away) to Target in the morning, for some necessities. Ds stayed back & read/wrote. On our way "home" we stopped in at Rick's Drive Inn for tacos, burritos, burgers, and fries. Yum! Then we rested for a bit before heading out later in the afternoon to the Wrigley Mansion & Tournament House. The tour guide was somewhat self-important and boring but we tried our best to be interested and polite anyway. At least we all know a bit more about the Tournament of Roses parade. Then we parked in Old Pasadena and walked around a bit. The main shopping streets are kind of like High Street or 9th Street (in Durham) meets The Mall, with J Crew and Forever 21 occupying historic buildings and intermixed with tattoo parlors. Ds bought some postcards in Barnes & Noble. The kids indulged me as we parked over by City Hall so I could look at that building and take some pictures. It's a very pretty place. Stopped by Ralph's again for dinner stuffs. Ate, watched TV, bed.
