Quick update...
Ds (12th grade) completed several multi-step chemistry experiments/demonstrations this week, involving beakers, vinegar, red cabbage, etc. He continues to work hard in Algebra II and Geometry, already having far surpassed the knowledge of his parents in these areas. In History he's embarked on a study of WWI. In Spanish he is memorizing vocabulary and conjugations. He spends an hour or more each day playing his guitar. And many other hours during the week in pre-production work for his next movie project. Plus Geography. And Bible reading.
Older dd (9th grade) continues to learn how to say things in Spanish (like "please put the luggage over there" and "I am a model"). She is working hard in Literature, right now reading & analyzing poetry. In History she's deep into the Romans. She also practices guitar each day and does spelling, grammar, and vocabulary lessons. Plus Algebra, Art, and skating three times a week. And Bible reading.
Younger dd (4th grade) is enjoying her radishes! She's also studying Rome. Math right now is decimals and the "four operations". Then there are spelling and grammar lessons, Daily Grams, and Explode-the-Code to fill out her Language Arts. Once a week she writes Poetry (using "Word Artist") and does a lesson in Music Ace. Bible reading each day. And Art, and skating twice a week.
