Interesting week

This week will be a full one:

Today & tomorrow ds is finishing up most of the filming for his movie project. We started this afternoon (at around 2) and were done at around 8:30. Tomorrow will be most of the day... plus I have to pick up younger dd from a sleepover and take older dd to an ortho appt. (Oh and the girls had synchro practice this evening, too.)

Also tomorrow a carpenter is coming to begin a long-anticipated and long-considered project of adding a room upstairs. We currently have a very large playroom on the second floor in addition to one bedroom and a bathroom. The playroom has been also functioning as my office/scrapbooking/craft area as well as as a guest room on occasion! Too many (often competing) functions for one space. So, he will be dividing off one end of the large room to make another bedroom. Then, I will take over the existing bedroom (which is ds's right now) as my office/craft room and guest room when needed. Ds will go in the newly created bedroom. The in-between space will function as teen/kid hangout area. I'm excited about having a room of my own! (He is building the wall so that it can be taken down easily if a future owner prefers to have one big room again.)

So, that'll take a few days... and then dh needs to paint and then we need to move everything to where it is supposed to go now, buy some new furniture, etc. (Right now we have nothing for the "teen/kid hangout area" except for a tv cabinet (with an old tv in it), a shelving unit (with a bunch of games & puzzles in it), and one chair.)

Probably won't be blogging much for the next week or so. Certainly won't be scrapbooking for a bit... since all my stuff is currently piled up in the corner of this room.
