The colors are a bit off in these but it gives you the idea. I'm happy with how the room turned out. There is a place to sit, to play games or talk, to watch videos or read. The laptop has a spot and is now the kids' designated computer so that frees me up (we're not sharing one computer and one desk anymore). There is a new air hockey game. And a place for younger dd to play with her doll house and other toys (which are all neatly stored in the attic space behind that white door.
)It still feels spacious because, even with losing one-third of the room it is still a big space! And the ceiling is high in the middle.
We need to add some things to the walls for the final touch. Are thinking of accenting in reds & oranges.

looks so good! love the futons. maybe we'll get to come visit sometime and caleb can sleep on one of them :)
