Today (well, the plan at least)

It's another gorgeous October day in the Piedmont... here's what's on tap for us this morning:

*ds just left for the local high school to take the SAT;
*younger dd is up and I'll be taking her to her morning skating lesson in a few minutes;
*older dd will be getting up soon--I'll be returning shortly to pick her up to take her to the rink (for off-ice conditioning class) (she's not 100% but close enough--has been off the ice all week and missed ballet for two weeks, hoping she won't be worse this eve after this morning!);
*pick up younger dd when I drop off older dd;
*take only dog to the vet for a rabies shot (vet is across the pond from the rink); drop off younger dd for synchro practice;
*home for an hour or two... continue working on HUGE photo organization project (I need more room on my hard drive and am archiving, triple-backing-up, editing, removing--you name it!--to get more space... then I need to upload a ton of photos for printing);
*back to rink to retrieve older dd (after synchro & teaching in learn-to-skate);
*younger dd is off with a friend to the NC Zoo for the rest of the day!

This afternoon dh will be finishing up the upstairs painting job (touchup mostly) and cleaning out the wood stove chimney. I'll be working more on the above-mentioned project, homeschool planning, laundry, menu planning, etc.
