This is the week for it, that's for sure.
As mentioned below, this past Saturday, younger dd skated with her synchro team in a holiday show.
On Sunday evening, older dd skated with her synchro team in another holiday show.
Tonight, younger dd is skating with her synchro team during (before?) a Carolina Hurricanes game. Dh, ds and my fil are going along to see her (and the game).
Tomorrow and Thursday both girls will have rehearsals for... the Nutcracker on Ice which will be this Saturday. But before that, older dd tests her Intermediate Moves on Saturday morning at another rink! (We are hoping for a pass!)
Then, the afore-mentioned Nutcracker on Ice will take place Saturday afternoon. Two shows. Both girls are in several group numbers in both shows and they have solos in the second one. (Older dd is the Arabian Dancer and younger dd is a Pirouette Doll.)
Oh, and before the Nutcracker begins they will be skating with their synchro teams!
I believe next week we will all be taking a much deserved break from skating.
