Taking the bad with the good

Today had its share of good and not-so-good. Just another day in the life, I guess. I finished off the day by playing some card games with younger dd while dh & older dd went to ballet. Then she (younger dd) helped me with my layout-of-the-day. Here it is:


In real life the background is not pale blue but a pure white. It has an embossed texture. You can't really see the detail in the page, but I embossed the circle and put glitter on the "e". Some of the stamped flowers are pop-dotted so they stand out from the page.

I struggle with these kinds of pages and think I am really much better at the event-oriented ones. But it is fun to do this kind every now and then. I was flipping through my 1999 photo album and saw these pictures which I didn't even remember. They are so classic older dd. Well, when she was 6. Actually they are still her.
