Popsicle Stick House and Twig People

Younger dd, as I said, is especially crafty and loves projects. Here's one she just finished. It's a house made entirely from popsicle sticks. (The box of 1000 is only about 50 cents more than the package of 150, it turns out.)

Can you see that the walls were made by laying and then gluing the sticks one on top of each other? Yup, it took a while. The roof & chimney were designed and crafted by my husband.

The inhabitants of the popsicle stick house are small twig people made by my dd. They have (rather oddly shaped) acorn heads & leaf clothing. Their friend is some kind of twig-only dude.

The idea for this project came from Family Fun Crafts.
