The sun is out... and it's supposed to be around for a few more days

Just to update you on the all important Weather Situation here in SB. And a few other things.

Enjoying ourselves for the most part. Ds is sick which is a major bummer but he's coping. It's a good thing he always did so well in Life Skills class. Thankfully the health center says it isn't the flu but since he has all flu-like symptoms I'm not really sure it matters. He's trying to keep up with his work and get some sleep, poor boy. I'm trying not to worry and call or email him every 6.5 minutes.

Went to men's soccer tonight in the new stadium which is purty cool. Beat Michigan up kinda badly. Friday night ND women's soccer team faces the Lady Tarheels in Alumni Stadium. Older ds claims she is going to wear her Carolina Blue shirt... we'll see!

Dh has a new book out. So that's cool.

We seem to have found older ds a place to take ballet. Still working on the skating -- the rink opens on campus in another week or so.

This Friday there'll be pep rallies and marching bands and such as the first home game is Saturday vs. Nevada. More on that later, for sure.

Smith School #2 "Northern Edition" starts on Tuesday. Stay tuned for all the exciting details.

Oh and I'm singing in the Collegium Musicum this fall. It's a small vocal ensemble specializing in sacred and secular music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras.
