What she said.

A Ten O'Clock Scholar puts it so well here in her post "Embracing All Hallow's Eve".  (Thanks Kerry for taking the time to write this out!)
Younger dd is super excited about a "real" Halloween this year in a "real" neighborhood.  She and her next-door friend will be trick-or-treating together.   Both are dressing as Cleopatra, one in white and the other in black.  Older dd plans to sit on the porch and give out candy.  Ds is going on a weekend retreat with a group from campus; his costume is a version of Fantastic Mr. Fox...
