7/8/08: Day 2 -- First stop along the Oregon Coast

After our ride on the dunes we headed up the Oregon Coast on Rte. 101. We had about 3 hours' drive to go and the whole rest of the aft/eve to do it in, so we planned on stopping at whatever looked interesting. Our first stop was just after this bridge at Heceta Head State Park. We wandered on the beach for a bit and then walked the short trail up to the lighthouse.

Here is the Heceta Head Lighthouse. The Innkeeper's House is a working bed & breakfast. Now that'd be a cool thing to do!
