Today is the first day of Fall here. Older dd asked for pumpkin pie earlier this week so I made one last night. We each enjoyed a piece for lunch.Temperatures are cooler.
The air is drier.
I can hear the pavers in the distance.
(Oh, that actually has nothing to do with Fall's arrival. It's just that we are finally getting our neighborhood roads paved! I will no longer live on a gravel/dirt/mud/dust road.)

My daughters are busy putting up fall decorations as I type! We are all happy the incessant heat has gone away!!
