Things started out with a mid-morning brunch (a couple from church invited us). Lovely waffles, good coffee and warm conversation. Then dh took the girls & three friends bowling. (This by special request of younger dd... she likes bowling for some reason.) Meanwhile ds and I made a quick trip to a bookstore so he could buy a present and I could get a calendar (50% off you know). This afternoon we've all pretty much lazed around -- reading, writing, scrappin'. Younger dd is at her friends' house overnight.
I'm glad for a few more days off. Monday morning and all the regular routines will come soon enough.

I used a CTMH base page on this one (above) and added some "Let's Get Together" papers. Used my new "Threading Water" border punch (you can't see that it goes all the way around because of the scan not getting the full 12").
These two pages are on "Let's Get Together" base pages with some cardstock, letter stickers & other stickease added.

Emily, sounds like a nice bringing in of the New Year. I do want us to connect and have the girls do something, and I think they would really like it. I know I would love spending time with you. I'll e-mail you. Tomorrow's a work day for me, so if you don't hear from me tomorrow it'll be soon.
