Ds finished his math course (Pre-Calculus) some time ago and Physics a few weeks back. Advanced Drama has been over for a while. Art history is also complete. Yesterday he turned in his research paper ("Nuclear Science: from Pure Science to Political Warfare"). At this point he has a few more lessons in Spanish II and several days' reading in each of two History books (Vietnam through Clinton). End-of-high-school activities and recognition have been begun -- this Friday he and the other 5 homeschoolers who are graduating together are having a "Senior Night": dinner at a local Japanese steak house and then games & hanging out. Next weekend is his graduation ceremony and celebration! Then there is a Seniors' lunch & recognition on a subsequent Sunday at church.

[A few shots from the play last weekend. Upper left dd is the "head" in the horse costume; upper right she's on the bench; lower left ds is 2nd from left; lower right dd is in the middle.]
Older dd's Biology and Drama classes have ended. She's finished her Art History reading. There are a few more lessons in Math and two more Spanish classes. For History she has to read one more novel. Language Arts is pretty much over. Next weekend is her Ballet Recital (same day as son's graduation!). Next week she'll take her end-of-year tests.
Younger dd finished Math a few days ago. Her Science, Literature, and Art classes ended on May 1. She's pretty much done with Language Arts. There are a few more chapters to read in her History book. Next week she'll also take her end-of-year tests.
We are turning the corner into summer! (Even tho' it's in the 60s outside!)
